FIBERLINER

Fiberliner is the latest technology in tank and floor liners for the plating industry. This liner will eliminate the liners that need replacing periodically due to stress and chemical aggressiveness. With the simple yearly maintenance plan Fiberliner will be the last line you will buy.

MATERIALS

Fiberliner is a catalysed resin material that forms a homogeneous non-porous polymer when cured; it is applied within a reinforced supporting matrix. The top phases of concentrated polymer provide outstanding corrosion resistance.
Fiberliner is available in two formulations:

  • # 100 For acidic applications.
  • # 200 For alkaline applications.

Special Fiberliner primers are used so as to provide integral interlocked bonding for maximum adhesion. This assures that separation of the lining will not occur. Glues and adhesives are not used with Fiberliner, as they are with less durable lining materials.

TANK LININGS

Fiberliner eliminates the problems with conventional tank linings, including tearing, debonding, failure at joints and seams, bubbles and material corrosion. This avoids the high maintenance costs associated with continual replacement of flimsy glued-on PVC liners and drop-in bag type liners. Fiberliner is a solid and continuous lining material that provides a high resistance to plating chemicals and temperatures. Fiberliner is bonded directly to the steel tank walls; glues and adhesives are not used. Fiberliner is rigid so it cannot tear and seamless so it cannot leak. Fiberliner avoids catastrophic liner failures. Fiberliner is available on both new tank construction and for relining of existing tanks, either in our plant or in the field.

CONTAINMENT LINING

Fiberliner provides a seamless and non-porous lining for plating room floors, walls, curbing and pits. Fiberliner's rigidity and outstanding corrosion protection ensures the integrity and life of secondary containment structures.
Typical applications are 0,5 cm and 0,75 cm thick so Fiberliner will not chip or scratch as will thin paint-on or trowel-on coatings. Special Fiberliner bonding agents are used to obtain outstanding interlocking adhesion.
Fiberliner is smooth in non-working areas and has anti-slip aggregate mixed in for floors and work areas. Fiberliner provides a permanent impervious barrier to corrosion, leaks and hazardous spills.
